Cowal Gold Project

Barrick is a leading international gold mining company with a collection of world class mines. The Cowal mine is a large-scale, long life operation and sits on the very edge of the shore of Lake Cowal, the largest natural inland lake in NSW, 45 kilometres north-east of West Wyalong.

ICG Construction Group managed the design and construction of the $5 million fast track build of the Mine Fleet Workshop, Mine Plant Workshop and Administration building for Barrick Gold. The Mine Fleet Workshop is 18 metres high and includes a 20-tonne overhead gantry crane, reticulated compressed air system and offices.
