“APP were engaged by TAFE NSW to manage a number of regional projects, two of which were located in Wagga Wagga. Following a selective tender process, ICG were appointed as the contractors to deliver these projects which consisted of the refurbishment of an existing building to provide a new beauty therapy training centre, and the extension of the existing trade training facility to provide a new plumbing education space.

At all times during the project ICG displayed a diligent and professional approach and went above and beyond to ensure that works were delivered safely and discretely within an operating educational environment.

Thanks to Joel Board and ICG’s site team, the finished product is of an extremely high standard and I would have no hesitation in recommending them for other similar projects.”

“ICG won the tender for the upgrade of Buildings 473 and 474 on the Wagga Wagga Campus of Charles Sturt University.

These were two existing buildings that were in significant need of internal refurbishment. Building 473 was renovated for use by the Three Rivers University Department of Rural Health and Building 474 became a shared working space for a mix of third party tenants associated with the University’s AgriPark initiative.

In addition to this, nearby Building 7 currently occupied by AgriFutures was in significant need of additional office accommodation.

Charles Sturt University worked with ICG in a design and construct approach to detail the functional requirements of the additional office accommodation. ICG then successfully managed the development of the detailed design and construction of a transportable building, which was linked into the existing Building 7.

Because of the very steep slope of the site, we decided the best solution would be a transportable building on steel columns, so that the building sort of floats out above the ground. This approach also meant the project could be delivered in an accelerated timeframe.

ICG brought their experience and know-how to the project, combined with the expertise of local designer, Icono. They were very focused on making sure that the building was commissioned and all defects were addressed so that it could be successfully handed over to the tenants within the agreed timeframe.

The feedback from the building occupants has been positive. ICG have been very cooperative, responsive and focused on a quality outcome. They've worked in well with us and I have a high level of satisfaction in the outcome of the project.”

"We manage the delivery of the Minor Capital Works program across 11 Sport and Recreation Centres and three International Olympic legacy venues within NSW, and rely on well-managed construction sites in these operational environments.

Good communication is required both with ourselves and the centres and venues, and ICG has proven themselves to be one of our more reliable contractors.

ICG recently completed upgrades to the Dining Hall building at our Borambola Sport and Recreation Centre. This included roof replacement, power upgrades and compliance-related refurbishment and upgrades to the kitchen, scullery, servery and dining room.

The works were extensive and included new external full height window units, a complete internal fitout with new freezer and cool rooms, reconfigured layouts with new food service equipment and new surface finishes throughout, with a new suspended ceiling system and feature wall in the dining room.

Sustainability elements were also incorporated including skylights, energy efficient lighting and passive ventilation to work in conjunction with a new air conditioning system.

We have worked with ICG before on the refurbishment of the Recreation Hall also at our Borambola Sport and Recreation Centre and found the quality of their tender submissions through to site management, contract administration and workmanship to be of a high standard along with having a strong sub-contractor base. We have found everyone at ICG to be cooperative, personable and a pleasure to deal with."

"We prefer, where possible, to deal with the local contractors because it supports the local industry and is good for the local economy. In October 2016, we engaged ICG to undertake the fit-out of the Junee Electorate Office for the Parliament of NSW.

ICG’s workmanship was good and the attention to detail very strong. Their verbal and written communication was proactive and they were always timely in their response.

Both the end customer and I were very satisfied with the project and our dealings with ICG."
